Full Time

The Next Street is seeking a talented, creative leader to direct the Human Resource functions at our high growth education company. We have a unique company culture at The Next Street and now are in need of a self starting individual to take ownership of supporting our culture and company growth as we expand our Regional and potentially National Operations. The perfect candidate is someone that, at their core, demonstrates their emotional intelligence through empathy and compassion, and is looking for a workplace environment that shares their values.

Our ideal candidate is someone that has experience creating strategic direction for the humans in a medium sized, high growth company. Self-discipline and positivity are important traits of this leader, as this role is given freedom to re-create the human resource department.

The Next Street is a high growth company that is independently owned and operated by our CEO. Our cultural goal is to foster a balance between maintaining corporate professionalism and encouraging gritty, fast moving entrepreneurial mindsets willing to take risks. The Next Street is a purpose driven company that seeks to do more than educate our customers. We work hard to create a work environment that helps our team grow professionally and personally and to find happiness in and out of the workplace.

This position reports directly to the CEO, who will coach and support this Executive position.

We acknowledge that our employees' lives outside of work can be difficult. Many of our staff members make more money than the poverty line, but less money than is truly needed to survive and thrive in 2020.

This position needs an individual who identifies themselves as a Director of People, Heart & Pulse: understands these challenges and is ready to work together with a passionate team to create modern solutions that help people reduce their stress and live their best lives.

Tactically, this will include recruiting and onboarding a talented human resources team, creating a coaching, mentoring and review program that promotes high performance for all of our team members, guiding company leaders in how to effectively grow and keep their teams, and evaluating or building systems that promote the culture we seek to create and scale.

If you are excited about the prospect of changing the world and being a part of an organization that wants to help you do it, please apply.
